DesignMatters Featured at the HOW Design Conference |
(June 8, 2006, Kirkland, WA) – Capitalizing on recent notoriety as a graphic design and business consultant, Jeni Herberger, President/CEO of three Kirkland-based companies, including Design Matters Inc., creative staffing firm Big Fish, and the studio services firm, Inner Agency will take her business savvy and design expertise to Las Vegas for the 16th annual HOW Design Conference, June 12 – 15, 2006. At popular request, conference sponsor HOW magazine honors Ms. Herberger for the fifth consecutive year at this national forum level.
This year’s sold out conference brings together more than 4300 graphic design professionals who seek to better balance the key components of graphic design: creativity, business and technology. Ms. Herberger’s three sold out presentations throughout the weekend mark her popularity. She conceptualized and will host two conference sessions and an additional pre-conference workshop. Over 800 conference goers will hear the “You’re Grounded: Finding Work/Life Balance”, seminar as Ms. Herberger presents her motivational and educational take on finding success through a greater balance of work and life. For the pre-conference session, HOW requested Jeni offer her perspective on in-house creative departments given her extensive experience with these groups and will provide strategic ideas on “Raising the Profile of Your In-House Team”. Just under 400 attendees selected this optional session.
In determining the conference agenda, HOW magazine, the creative and business resource for graphic designers, selects only the nation’s top business and design experts and Ms. Herberger is one of the few presenters who are invited to speak year after year. Her most recent speaking engagements have taken her to Chicago, New Orleans, San Diego and Phoenix.
